One loose stone. Every setting.

Customers struggle to picture a loose diamond as a finished ring. Upload one photo of the stone and show it as a solitaire, halo, three stone ring, pendant and studs, with the cut and colour kept as they are.

Selling stones before they are set

Diamond dealers and bespoke jewellers sell a stone first and a ring later. The gap in between is where clients hesitate: a loose stone in tweezers says little about how it will look on a hand.

Our stone in settings tool closes that gap. From a single image of the stone you get the same stone presented in the classic settings your client is choosing between.

What stays fixed

  • Shape and cut: a cushion stays a cushion, an oval keeps its length to width ratio.
  • Colour: a near colourless stone is not bleached whiter, a fancy yellow is not pushed brighter.
  • Proportion: the stone is sized relative to the setting, so carat weight reads honestly.

Who it is for

Diamond wholesalers with online stock lists, bespoke ateliers that design around a client's stone, and retailers who sell loose diamonds online. For whole stock lists, our catalogue service handles it for you.

A note on certificates

Images support a sale. They do not replace grading. Always show the lab report next to the image, and keep your product text consistent with it.

Our one rule

We change the light, the scene and the story. Never the piece.

Questions.

Which settings can I show?

Solitaire, halo, three stone, pendant and studs.

What photo of the stone works best?

A sharp, face up photo on a neutral background in daylight. Avoid coloured backgrounds, they reflect into the stone.

Can I use this for coloured gemstones too?

Yes. See our page on gemstone photography.

Bring one photo. We keep the piece exactly as it is.
